We are committed to our South Florida patients achieving meaningful weight loss:

We believe everybody has the right to live a life of health and wellness.

We recognize the complexities of obesity and that there are psychological, metabolic, biological, and social barriers to weight loss.

The “eat less, exercise more” adage oversimplifies, and ends up stigmatizing, many people who struggle with their weight.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to weight loss. Our patients have choices and receive the best guidance to choose the best treatment or procedure to reach their weight loss goals.

Our patients’ weight loss plans don’t end in post-op or after treatment. We provide integral post-surgery and post-treatment support to help them sustain their weight loss and keep them on track with meaningful, achievable lifestyle changes.

Medical weight loss solutions are just one piece of the puzzle. A comprehensive team of medical professionals – psychologists, registered dietitian nutritionists, medical staff, nurse practicioners, and physicians – are key to successful and sustained weight loss.

We look forward to helping you achieve meaningful weight loss.

Our Procedures and Treatments

Gastric Bypass

This bariatric procedure is one of the most common surgeries to treat morbid obesity and obesity-related diseases. With over 50 years on the market, and now with cutting-edge laparoscopic technology, the gastric bypass (or roux-en-y) is effective, safe, and helps people achieve a healthy weight.

Sleeve Gastrectomy

A laparoscopic procedure that removes almost 80% of the stomach and, in doing so, reduces the production of the hunger hormone ghrelin. The sleeve is one of the most effective, popular choices to treat obesity and obesity-related diseases, reducing appetite, slowing digestion, and helping you achieve a healthy weight.

Gastric Band (Lap-Band®)

A silicone ring is placed around the top of the stomach (like a belt) and filled with a saline solution to reduce stomach size, slow down digestion, and, in turn, reduce appetite. On the market since 2001, it’s a safe, minimally invasive, procedure.

Gastric Balloon

Endoscopic, non-surgical weight loss procedure for qualifying patients. Approved by the FDA in 2015, this is the most minimally invasive medical weight loss procedure on the market. Reduce stomach size and learn to develop healthier eating behaviors, portion control, and diet plan to achieve a healthy weight.

Medical Weight Management

Clinically proven, our medically supervised weight management program near Miami in South Florida is individualized for every patient. A board-certified interdisciplinary team will develop clinical solutions to treat your obesity. We will help identify hormone imbalances, measure your metabolism, make meaningful lifestyle changes, and prescribe FDA-approved medications (when considered necessary by your physician). We are committed to you achieving meaningful weight loss.
